We had a surprise visit during the holidays from Tom McCarty and his new bride, Regina. 
They were just married in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana Temple, and they came to Utah, Colorado, and Arizona for their honeymoon! What were they thinking?
We were pleased that they stopped to see us, and while they were in Blanding, all the cousins came over to meet the new Mrs. McCarty. The next day, Dad, Kd, Clay and the Perkins kids went down to Kayenta for an open house for the newlyweds.
What would you expect at an open house on the reservation? Navajo Tacos, of course! Thomas was enjoying a big piece of fry bread. Congratulations, Tom and Regina!

She is such a cutie. I bet she is about exhausted from all the traveling. And it seems like Tom could drive straight over and back in a few days time if he had his way. They both seem really happy. What a cute couple!
I wish I could have met her, they look like they are really happy. What a great surprise.
