Spring Yard Work

A week ago our back yard was a tangle of weeds. Now, after a long hard week of work, Dad has cleaned up the yard and pruned the trees. Hopefully, we will get some good fruit this year. We are also hoping that we will have enough water to plant a small garden for the grandkids.
Do you guys remember the last time there was water in Browns' Pond? Well, there it is!

I cannot believe that is the same backyard we saw last week. Great job Dad. I bet you are hurting from all that work. Well, you are just getting started.

Now he can come to our house! Ours is a mess and I just can't seem to get motivated. Worthy was so excited to see water in Brown's pond. Tons of memories there!

I am a lot like Dad, I think. I do okay most of the time, but once in the while, I just get REALLY productive. At those times, I get a ton of stuff done--house cleaning, scrapbooking, calling friends. Like Dad here with the yard or when he gets on his organizational kicks. Unfortunately, most of the time, I just feel guilty or overwhelmed by all the things I am not getting done. Love you, Dad. Great job!
