The Next Generation

Last month, I had the distinct privilege of working with 2 very delightful students who wanted to learn to sew. Talk about quick learners!

Eva and Cole came over to Grandma's house 2 days a week for about an hour and a half each time. They practiced some basic sewing techniques, then they constructed some real projects.
They worked cheerfully to make pillowcases for themselves and for other friends and family.

Their final project was a rag flag, and I must say they did an outstanding job.
(By the way, Eva is 9 years old and Cole is 10)
I am impressed; are you?

I think it is awesome that, one, they want to learn to sew, and two, that they have you there to teach them!
